Our purpose is to promote a desire for faithfulness, a heart for worship, a passion for service, and a resolve to proclaim Christ.
We believe that salvation is by God's grace through faith alone in Christ alone.

Sunday Services

  • 9:45 Worship Service — Breaking of Bread
    • Special time set aside for believers to worship and remember the Lord Jesus Christ in the breaking of bread (Communion).
  • 11:00 Bible Hour
    • Bible teaching and music consistent with the historical tenets of the Evangelical faith.
  • 11:00 Sunday School
    • Bible lessons for small groups from ages 2 through High School.
  • 6:00 Evening Bible Study
    • Bible teaching, discussion, and life application.
  • (Nursery Care is available during all Sunday meetings)

Mid-Week Activities (September – May)

  • Prayer Meeting
    • Thursday, 7:30 – 8:00 PM
    • Believers meet for corporate prayer.
  • Bible Study
    • Thursday, 8:00 – 9:00 PM
    • Informal Bible study meets to explore the richness of God’s Word in a time of Biblical teaching, discussion, explanation, and application.  All ages are welcome.

Youth Ministries – (September – May)

  • AWANA – Bible Club for Children
    • Sunday, 5:30 – 7:00 PM
    • Children (ages 3 through 6th grade) learn the Bible in a structured and proven international program that is based wholly on the Word of God.  Weekly program includes Council time, Handbook time, and Game time. (An Adult Bible Study will take place during the program.)
  • Youth Group
    • Friday, 7:30 – 9:30 PM
    • High School and Middle School students have a time of fun and fellowship around the Word of God in gym activities and informal Bible study. All young people are welcome.
  • College and Career
    • Friday, 9:30 PM
    • Small Bible study, coffee, and snacks.

Women’s Ministries

  • Valley Bible Chapel regularly schedules events to minister directly to the women of our chapel as well as to their guests.  These ministries include Bible Studies, Special “Women Only” Events, Foreign Missionary Ministries, a Chapel Women’s Fall Retreat, and other events which may be scheduled throughout the year.

Nursing Home Ministry

  • The 3rd Sunday of every month for ministry at the Pascack Valley Nursing Home in Westwood. (Lunch is provided)

Adult Fellowships

  • Special events scheduled throughout the year to encourage adults and strengthen relationships.

Pastoral Care

  • The following men are our recognized elders and are, along with other men and women of VBC, available for pastoral care, individual biblical instruction, visitation, and prayer.
