AWANA is a Bible Club for Children (ages 3 - 6th grade) to learn the Bible. An Adult Bible Study takes place during the program!

Missions Trip to Ecuador, March 2012

Five men and women from Valley are making plans to go to Ecuador for a week in March to help Erin Hayes and the team there with their Summer Bible Camp. The camp houses more than 100 campers and is about an hour and a half away from the city where Erin works (Guayaquil). The campers come from a very poor area and the children are not able to pay to be there. The US team is responsible to raise the money needed to pay for the campers to attend the week-long session ($50 p/camper). This week provides the children with a fun time on the ocean where they play games, eat well, and enjoy learning from the Bible for the entire week. If you would like to be involved financially with this work, there are donation slips in the foyer where you can indicate if you would like to support a Valley Team Member and / or pay for some of the children to attend camp. You can also call the chapel to see how you can help (201 664-1432). Thanks!

Sunday, February 5, 2012 Annual Meeting

Plan to attend our annual meeting and enjoy a pizza lunch together right after the Bible Hour. There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer – sign up to bring a salad (with dressing), dessert or soda. The chapel will provide the pizza. Members will be able to vote on Trustees.

Our purpose is to promote a desire for faithfulness, a heart for worship, a passion for service, and a resolve to proclaim Christ. We believe that salvation is by God's grace through faith alone in Christ alone.
